Hello, and welcome to my webpage!

My name is Dario Mortini. Since January 2026, I work as postdoctoral researcher in the ZEGRa epistemology research group at the University of Zürich. Previously, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Barcelona Institute of Analytic Philosophy (BIAP) and the LOGOS research group. Before joining Zegra and LOGOS, I was a postdoc at the University of Southern Denmark. I also held visiting positions at the University of Tilburg (Tilburg Center for Moral Philosophy, Epistemology and Philosophy of Science) and the University of Cologne (CONCEPT).

I completed my PhD at the University of Glasgow in September 2022. I was a member of COGITO (Epistemology Research Centre). My advisor was Christoph Kelp. My examiners were Ernest Sosa and Mona Simion.

I work primarily in epistemology, but I also have interests in philosophy of (evidence) law, philosophy of language, philosophy of science, and experimental philosophy, especially when these areas bear on epistemological issues or raise distinctively epistemological questions.
